Job Description:


A Site Director oversees and administers all program functions of the organization at the site level.  They coach, mentor, supervise and support staff, working with the Executive Director in providing leadership in implementing and evaluating program systems and representing the agency to parents, churches, and the local community.


  • Responsible for the daily operations of the childcare facility
  • Ensure a safe and educational environment for young children
  • Manage teaching staff
  • Communicate with parents


Qualifications:


  • Four years of paid experience in a licensed childcare facility

                OR

  • Early Childcare Education Degree

                OR

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in the field of education


  •  Must be 21 years of age or older 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor





Job Description:


Site Director Designee's manage and administer all program functions of the site when the Site Director is unavailable.  This role is to coach, mentor, supervise and support staff.


  • Responsible for the daily operations of the childcare facility
  • Ensure a safe and educational environment for young children
  • Manage teaching staff
  • Communicate with parents


Qualifications:


  • Two years of paid experience in a licensed childcare facility

Job Description:


Tutors are responsible for leading one-on-one or small group lessons that cater to the needs and goals of their students.  They often have the following responsibilities in addition to those of a Care Giver:


  • Reviewing classroom assignments
  • Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks
  • Teaching skills to improve academic performance, including study stratagies, note-taking skills and approaches to answering test questions
  • Providing students constructive feedback as well as reporting observed progress to parents when appropriate


Qualifications:


  • Eduation student, current teacher, or retired education professional.
  • Pass FBI Fingerprint and Department of Human Services Central Child Abuse Registry check as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Complete certificate in CPR and First Aid as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Attend fifteen hours of continuing education each year as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age





Job Description:


A Care Giver's role is to ensure a safe, supervised environment for children attending all programs of the Church After School Association.  Their responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Monitor child activities
  • Organize and oversee age appropriate activities for all participants; works with other childcare workers, volunteers, parents and staff to listen and meet the needs of the children while in care of C.A.S.A.
  • Ensure a safe and developmentally appropriate atmosphere .
  • maintain a neat and clean facility through daily janitorial routines.
  • Prepare snack (lunches when necessary) that meet the state mandated requirements.


Qualifications:


  • Pass FBI Fingerprint and Department of Human Services Central Child Abuse Registry check as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Complete certificate in CPR and First Aid as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Attend fifteen hours of continuing education each year as required by Mississippi State Department of Health.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

The position of Junior Care Giver was created to help young employees develop a passion for working with children, as well as to help the develop desired work ethics that they will carry on with them through adulthood.
