The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) may be on many of our minds and as the summer approaches we would like to reassure our families that the safety and health of campers and staff is always the highest priority at Church After School Association, Inc. While we are hopeful that camp will continue with our new start date on Monday, June 22, 2020, the safety and health of our community is of utmost concern. Our camps have a long history of planning for and managing communicable diseases, and while the potential spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is still within the United States, coronavirus currently poses no immediate concern for our upcoming summer camp program.
Church After School Association, Inc has communicable disease plans in place that will be revised in cooperation with public health authorities as additional COVID-19 guidance is provided. Furthermore, Church After School Association, Inc will work closely with its local public health department to maintain effective protocols for the identification and appropriate treatment of any illnesses that may occur at camp, including COVID-19. Church After School Association, Inc will continue to keep all of our families updated as new information becomes available.
Our camp teams are prepared for arrival day screening procedures that all campers will receive and Church After School Association, Inc will update these health and wellness screening policies and procedures to reflect the current best practices recommended by public health authorities.
The Summer Camp Program operates during the months of June and July after the Tupelo Public School District dismisses for the Summer. Our Summer program is packed with loads of FUN. C.A.S.A. takes field trips and will have special activities and events planned throughout the summer as well. C.A.S.A. offers multiple camps such as: Theatre Camp, STEAM Camp and Sports Camp. C.A.S.A. also schedules all students registered in our summer program the opportunity to attend a local Vacation Bible School at one of our local host churches. Parents are allowed to choose the weeks that they need childcare for, and only pay for those weeks. We call this option our “Select Your Weeks” policy. This program is offered to all local families, families outside the Tupelo Public School District, and even to out of state children visiting for the Summer. Space is limited and always fills up fast.
Enrollment for our 2020 Summer Camp Program has officially reached max capacity. For those wishing to be placed on our waiting list, you may do so by emailing us at email@example.com
